Duggar Family Forms Pro-Life Coalition to Fight "Abortion Holocaust"

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of the popular TLC series 19 Kids and Counting are forming a coalition of pro-life groups to help fight against abortion.

The idea stems from their recent trip to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC; to the Duggars, abortion is itself a holocaust.

"A couple of weeks after we went to the Holocaust Museum it dawned on us that there is a holocaust taking place right here in America!" the Duggars wrote.

"More than 56 million lives have been destroyed in our country! That is over 4,000 babies being killed and 4,000 women being wounded each day!"

"We talked and prayed about what our family could do to make a difference in saving the lives of the unborn. We ended up contacting the national pro-life groups."

"We asked them to all work together and pool their incredible resources to motivate and activate many people to get involved in ending abortion in America."

The Duggars called Dan Pennell, CEO of WMtek, a Fort Pierce, Fla., based web development company, who immediately caught the vision, Jim Bob said.

Working with Jim Bob and Mathew Staver of Liberty Counsel, Dan formed the coalition of pro-life groups that has become what is now Life United.

Its partners: The Duggar family; LIFE International; L.E.A.R.N; Living Waters; Liberty Counsel; National Center for Life and Liberty; Family Research Council; The Justice Foundation.

"Life United exists not only to educate people with the reality of abortion in our generation, but to do something about it," the group said in a statement.

"Our partners have come together with their resources to create the tools that will help motivate and enable others to value and support human life."

“Americans are being forced to fund a Hitler-kind of killing machine," the group says, calling the last four decades "the 40 most bloody years in America."

"We are committed to end abortion in our lifetime. Abortion is the most senseless, inhumane form of child abuse one can imagine. It is time to restore a culture of life."

me either but what seriously sticks in my craw is pro-lifers bringing their kids to the protests. there is NO reason for a toddler to be holding a sign with a picture of an aborted fetus on it.

keep your shitty adult opinions to your adult shitty self.

One time I was going to Planned Parenthood and freaking the fuck out because I thought I had cysts or ovarian cancer or something awful. The shitty pro-lifers were outside, and when I got out of my car they turned a toddler towards me who was holding an aborted fetus poster. I told them to fuck off and they said I needed to watch my language in front of their child. I was afraid of what would come out of my mouth next, so they just got some major side-eye as I went inside.

Walk for Life?! That's a cancer thing over here. Yet again, one more instance of THAT DOES NOT MEAN THE SAME THING. ;)
