Amy Poehler is working on a book that appears to be a little bit of everything.

The star of "Parks and Recreation" and former "Saturday Night Live" performer has an agreement with It Books for an "illustrated, non-linear diary" with stories both true and invented.

Jokes, candor and life lessons are promised. It Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, announced Monday that the book is currently untitled and scheduled for 2014.

It's the first book for Poehler, who recently hosted the Golden Globes ceremony with Tina Fey, her good friend and author of the million-selling "Bossypants."

EXCITING!

Oh god yes please

I was this excited for Tina's book but it made me like her slightly less, I hope this doesn't do the same becuase Amy is basically my favorite female celeb. :/

I just felt some things she said were ehhhhh. I couldn't name them right now but after I fishished it I was left like her a little bit less.

same, gah, like how she was so dismissive about airbrushing, etc. (paraphrasing) Oh, any kid can look at an ad and immediately tell they're all photoshopped so none of that is damaging.

Yeah, I wasn't crazy about some of things she wrote, but at the same time it came off as pretty classic Tina. I love her Amy chapter and the chapter about her horrendous honeymoon cruise. Lol.

My fave part was when she mentioned how the hula dancing yoga instructor people on the ship are the same people who make the decision of whether or not to shoot a panicked lifeboat passenger. I CAN'T.
