It kind of is if you think about it. It's a complete rehash of the formula that worked so well in the first one. I think if it weren't for the actors who made it work so well, we all wouldn't be so fond of it.
But really though, how would adding even more character save this film? Some of these are on point, but bringing Sabertooth and Toad back just for fight scenes? No.

I like the blonde hair even though it's awful, idek. I just like that he was in it. His fight with Bobby was almost epic.
Ugh, it's been like 10 years since I've liked anything X-Men. X-Men: Evolution was the only thing I had and then it was cancelled.
