Hugh Hefner's secretary Mary O'Connor passes away

Fans of "Girls Next Door" remember watching Mary O'Connor and how close she was with Hef's girlfriends. On Jan. 27, Hef went to Twitter to share the news that she has passed away.

Hef started out tweeting: "Mary passed away today. We loved her more than words can say." Hef's new wife Crystal Harris tweeted: "Hef's long time secretary & my dear friend Mary O'Connor has passed away. It's a very sad day here at the Playboy Mansion. We love you Mary." Mary was always very close with the girls and they talked to her about everything. She will be greatly missed by the women.

The stars of "Girls Next Door" also went to Twitter to send their condolences. Holly Madison responded to a tweet of a picture of a rainbow saying: "Rest In Peace Mary! “@AshleyMatthau: Just saw a rainbow!" Bridget Marquardt said: "Thank you for all the sweet messages. Mary O'Connor will be missed. #RIPMary."

Fans of the show remember that Kendra was very close to Mary O'Connor. Kendra said: "RIP Mary O'Connor. She was an amazing person who helped me through so much. But I know she's happy with her boo Captain Bob. :) I said a prayer earlier for her and said an inside joke I know she was laughing at. RIP Mary O'Connor." Kendra loved Mary so much.
