I thought this was cute. Two girls drove around stalking Daniel while filming Horns carrying a cardboard cut-out of Ron Weasley and he asked them over and signed autographs. It's the first video footage I've seen of him in full Horns costume.

I'm reading Horns right now and cannot imagine Dan as Ig. I can't wait to see what he does with it.

I read Horns after I found out he was cast, so I couldn't imagine Ig as anyone but Dan. Of course, this also led me to picturing Lee Tourneau as Draco Malfoy, lol.

lol I normally don't imagine what a character looks like, but the way Ig is described as being 'disturbed' I don't know if Dan can pull it off.

There were certainly parts of the book where I had trouble picturing him, but I think those were parts I had trouble picturing being translated to the screen at all.

From what I understand and read excerpts of, they've made a lot of changes from book to script. Joe Hill seems to be thrilled with it, so......

I've been kinda worried about Horns until I saw KYD. Now, I think he can do it.

His voice tends to be higher pitched when speaking with an American accent (How To Succeed) and I had a hard time hearing that voice as Ig.

If he drops his voice, plus I really digging the look he sporting for the character....I think it might work.

Either way, I'm excited to see it.

IA with the lowering the voice thing, but I think he'll pull it off. Or I hope, anyway. Either way I really liked the book, which I probably wouldn't have read if I hadn't heard about Dan's involvement with the movie.

And I love the way they've styled him for Horns, I'm still coveting that leather jacket.

god, that leather jacket. I want it.

I have given Dan the benefit of doubt even when I wasn't sure he could do it....and he always ends up surprising me.

I have been super happy with all of his post HP work so far. I don't believe he'll disappoint this time. I've been waiting to see him in a really gritty role like this.

Lee is Max Minghella, and I'm not even sure he'll be a blonde which I am extremely pressed about.
