PropertyOfZack has confirmed with several trusted sources that Fall Out Boy are reuniting after a three year-plus hiatus. Fans should expect an official announcement in the near future.

So far, this is the only outlet "officially" reporting anything about this, but there have been strong rumors and hints about this happening for a while now. People in other bands that know them said it was happening. A woman working for ET over heard some staff talking about it, a while ago. And this site has the "connections" to get into contact with enough sources to be about 80% in the right. Still though, wait and see!
Joe just tweeted:
The first news outlet that reported are still sticking by their story and say that Joe's tweet is actually a hint at Skate and Surf festival, which they're rumored to be playing. Although Altpress has a conflicting report from their manager saying they're not "doing anything".
So, an interesting game of cat and mouse is going on. Is the band keeping mum because they want to announce things their way when they're ready? Or are some of the more reputable indie/punk news sites about to lose a lot of their cred for jumping the gun on stale rumors? I guess we'll know the truth soon enough since the last of the headliners for the festival are going to be announced on the 11th of February.

like if you pick any pop punk band from that era the most popular one was the ~hawt~ one regardless of status in the band
