Jessica Chastain braves the freezing cold temperature to sign autographs for fans outside of her Broadway play The Heiress on Wednesday (January 23) in New York City. The day before, the Zero Dark Thirty actress came out of the stage door to a crying fan. Jes gave the theatre patron a big hug – despite the fact that it was brutally cold out! Wow! Jessica will be attending the 2013 SAG Awards this coming Sunday, where she is nominated for her work in Zero Dark Thirty. Jes will also be presenting – we can’t wait to see her dress choice!!!

I met her outside The Heiress as well when I visited nyc ~ she *really* is very sweet. I'd just dyed my hair pink and she grabbed some of my hair and said it was pretty. I was floored and just stuttered like a moron.
