Julian Assange has launched a scathing attack on The Fifth Estate, the Benedict Cumberbatch-led film about the founding of his whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks.
Speaking to Oxford University students via a video linked from his asylum at London's Ecuadorian embassy, Assange dubbed the movie a "massive propaganda attack" and questioned the accuracy of West Wing writer Josh Singer's script.
Assange referenced specific scenes from the script, notably an early sequence inside an Iranian military compound that clearly displays nuclear symbols, reports The Guardian.
"How does this have anything to do with us? It is a lie upon lie," he said. "The movie is a massive propaganda attack on WikiLeaks and the character of my staff."
Assange added that The Fifth Estate was "fanning the flames" of war and contained "a lie" about meetings between US agents and scientists.
The Fifth Estate is due in US cinemas on November 15, while a UK release date has yet to be announced.

*nods head sympathetically*
He creeps me out, idk.
Also, Julian Assange ≠ Wikileaks, and a lot of people (I'm not saying you!) can't separate that and think that if you have a go at Assange it means you don't agree with Wikileaks. That gets on my tits and it's not his fault directly but he does nothing to dispel that. He seems happy to play the whole rape charge in Sweden thing as being somehow connected to his work at Wikileaks. Which isn't just down to him, although he likes to portray it as such.
sorry for the rant lol
Crowe and Jennifer Connelly got theirs for A Beautiful Mind.
Charlize Theron ------> Aileen Warnos ( I think that's how you spell it).
Jamie Foxx ------> Ray Charles
Reese Witherspoon
/Sissy Spacek -----> June Carter/Loretta Lynn
Meryl Streep-----> Margaret Thatcher
Colin Firth -----> King George VI
Sean Penn ----> Harvey Milk
And that doesn't even count the nominations! Or that DDL has it in the bad this year for Lincoln.
