of cours Zoya had that sale right after i put myself on a no-buy so i missed out.

i hinted at it FOREVER to my mother so she could buy me some for my birthday but i never found out if she ordered it. My birthday is saturday so i have my fingers crossed for some new pretty shinies :)

I counted last night and I have 12 nail polishes and 3 nail pens I haven't used yet. Ooops. But I've filled up my nail polish holder, so I think I'm going to back off for a while.

Office Max has THE best organizing boxes and things. I just use a clear plastic basket with a swivel handle thing. It was like $7 and it holds about 70 polishes, and all of my accessories.

my mom got me the Sephora OPI mini sampler thing for Christmas that has like 12 mini bottles plus a full size one. I've swatched 3 of them so far. I still have at least 4 other full size bottles to use plus a whole bunch that i've ever only used once.

i need to get a helmer for all my polish

i just can't stop myself, it's so cheap and accessible. I love having pretty nails. I've always been hand-vain, so it's not a shock that I'm into nails, too.

Sinful Colors is my favorite nail polish brand, the colors are very pigmented, last a long time with a top coat, and are formaldehyde free. Plus they're only $1.99 and they have pretty much any color you could want, I have about 50 of them.
I wish every nail polish had a brush like Sally Hansen though, it's wide and flat and distributes polish so evenly. Plus they do my favorite top coat (Diamond Nails in clear).
I also loooove ORLY though their glitter polishes leave something to be desired. Their metallic ones are amazing, tho.

I have a couple of SC nail polishes, and I haven't really been impressed with them. A couple of mine dried out in less than a year, and they've gone on pretty streaky. Not sure if it was just the particular colors that I bought or what, but I've been avoiding them since.

My cheap nail polish of choice is Wet n Wild's megalast lines- also $1.99 a bottle and they have the wide, flat brushes. Plus, with a topcoat they last 10 days, which is incredible for any polish brand.

I don't have any Orly's yet. I would like to try the Bonder base coat, but I've been too cheap to buy it since I already have a really great basecoat.

See, I've had the exact opposite experience with WetnWild nail polishes- go on streaky, chip fast, and barely last. With a topcoat my SC polishes last 10 days usually, some of them longer, and I've never had any dry up, even the ones I've owned for 4 years now. So weird that we've had totally different experiences with these two brands!
