Yikes, it's like they had only a half hour to produce this. Her other commercial was so much better.

I've never tried Revlon foundation. Should I give it a shot?

def give this one a shot! I love it. Really lightwight and it doesn't have a heavy coverage, but if you add the powder on top, it looks great! i've gotten tons of compliments on my skin since i started using it

I'm so up for getting compliments! Haha. That always sells beauty products for me

Could I ask you whether you think someone with dry skin (and I mean REALLY dry) needs to set the foundation with powder afterward? Or do you think the foundation will be good by itself?

I have very dry skin too and I never set my foundations. It will probably depend upon if you're wearing a moisturizer or primer underneath and how much you apply.

Thank you! I probably won't apply that much, and I just need to cover redness on my cheeks, which are the driest parts of my face, so I probably won't need the powder. Thanks bb!

I've used a fair amount of different foundation brands (Maybelline, Neutrogena, Clinique, Revlon) and Revlon is by far my favorite for a drug store brand. I wear their ColorStay whipped in the winter, ColorStay liquid for oily skin in the summer, and their PhotoReady concealer for both my under eyes and to cover acne.

revlon best foundation
callista88 23rd-Jan-2013 09:22 pm (UTC)
Revlon definitely makes the best foundation available in the drugstore.

Revlon Colorstay foundation is hands down the best drugstore makeup you can buy. If you have zits, or uneven skin tone I'd go for it. Even if you have nice skin, I'd still use it but apply much less!
