My complaint is that people were still on their fucking phone texting people around me. You PAID FOR THE FUCKING THING AND WERE THERE VOLUNTARILY. She was even SPEAKING about how people are addicted to their devices.
it's so depressing to go ANYWHERE and see everyone buried in their own little iphone worlds
That sucks, though. People were a lot more respectful when I saw her. I don't even look at my phone when I'm visiting with friends unless I get a phone call or am getting repeated texts.
It's not only rude but it's distracting to the people around you so I was having trouble enjoying the lecture because these rude fucks were playing around.
I've had that happen. I can't stand when people text around me at events like that, it is so rude.
The person in my row was just a little too far away but if she had been next to me, I would have seriously told her to turn off her phone and put it away.
Seriously, why pay to be on your phone?
