I need to find a job for this summer and I'm so stressed about it because I want to find something that has decent pay and will be a good thing to have on my resume for the future (ie not retail), but I can't find any internships and I feel like it's too early to apply to anything else, so I'm worried I'm going to end up with nothing.

I'm in the same boat. I need to find a job ASAP but I don't want any internships and I really don't want to go back to retail because that's not what I majored in or really want to do. It sucks.

It really was! I'm pretty sure they'll renew it. I think their ratings went down a bit but I hope they have more episodes. Season 2 has 22!!

I loved my first ID picture so much more but we had to retake them 2 years later because they decided they wanted different IDs. Everybody came in to work dressed nicer than usual. lol

Recently I talked to a couple of my bosses and told them that I felt I was being underutilized and that I was capable of a lot more, so they finally caved and gave in to my bitching, and now I'm so busy at work, I barely have time to dick around on the Internet, and I'm not being paid anymore. WTF was I thinking? I gotta be the biggest moron on planet Earth.

LOL that definitely meant to say "any more" and not "anymore", as in I'm getting my regular salary, but I'm also assisting creative now, as well as my regular duties, so I'm doing extra work for no benefit other than hopefully getting my ideas heard, finally.

also there is this place i REALLY want to work at but they only have unpaid internships listed on their website. i need money, so idk if i would do another unpaid internship, but would you still apply? should i cold email them and send my resume hinting at wanting a job?

I think you should as backup. You can apply to other places that are paid. If you dont get anything else at least you can add something to your resume (assuming you get the unpaid internship) and you might get a job there later

I did an internship in college and end up getting a full-time job; I'm still here three years later. :) So if it's something you really want, go for it.

Could you do something like the unpaid internship AND a paid job? When I was going to school one summer I did that - I interned four days a week and waitressed three. It wasn't perfect, but I made enough in tips to help me get by, and I got something relevant to my field to add to my resume.

I just realized: Are we to interpret that Spencer knew it was Toby because the keys fell out of the hole in his pocket? I couldn't figure out what that article posted earlier meant when Troian was saying Spencer knew almost from the beginning it was him.

Hanna found the key when she got knocked over with the mannequins, right? She could have told Spencer about the key, Spencer kept it and when Toby asked about it, she got suspicious? IDK, all I know is that A dropped the key when Hanna was knocked down.

Ugh it is sooooo fucking cold here in DC. And my mom in Texas made sure to text me about how it's in the 70s and she's going golfing today.

I'm trying to decide if I want to try and start a running regime or join a gym. Gyms are expensive, but I seem to have more discipline on a treadmill than when I just go out. Plus then I could take classes. I miss yoga.
