ia the two-parters are amazing. like, you go in knowing they're not actually going to die in any of the cliffhangers, but it's still exciting to watch. it's just good writing imo.
I really don't think they will or if they do it'll be a momentary thing. Caskett is obviously an end game coupling for the show. I'm honestly glad that they addressed that Castle uses his wacky personality to hide shit about himself.

Me too. A friend of mine finally felt redeemed after wondering why Castle's backstory was such a mystery. I love that Significant Others ended with an impending sense of doom that made me more excited about the rest of the season and also convinced me of the worth of Castle's dad. I was so against that after Pandora/Linchpin because the CIA thing was so...Alias
You're not the only one. Both episodes were boring. I'm hoping the next episode and the two parter has a lot of action. I also think the two parter will involve Alexis in danger.
I don't read spoilers, but I've been wondering when Alexis was going to end up in danger. I was wondering if it was just something the show decided not to do for some reason.
I've read about the two-parter having something occurring, at what we presume is Alexis' college. Seamus Dever and Marlowe both said that what happens in the 2-parter is something that's never done before and cannot happen again. They have to do it right. So I assume Alexis gets into danger (her speech to her dad sounded foreshadowing).
I spent a week or two in december watching the whole series and when I finally catch up, it's yeah kinda dull
I mean not like "FUCK I WANT THE LAST HOUR OF MY LIFE BACK" dull, but it sucked that I did all that watching and could finally watch the show as it aired and the episodes were a little lackluster.
I fell asleep in front of the tv during the last 2 epis. Luckily I also set up my dvr so I can rewatch what I missed. Yeah the last two were boring. Looking for to this one!
Agreed. The last two episodes were insulting. Supporting characters are SUPPORTING. I don't want to see episodes centered around them. Sorry. The last episode was clearly freelance or written by the writer's assistant. Totally paint by numbers and lacked any sort of heart or nuance. Let's get back to substance please!
That does not make you a bad fan. Last night's was better than the one last week imo but still nothing classic. I usually like this show best when it's dark (granted, Cops & Robbers is my favorite episode, but the rest of my Top 5 is glorious angst)
i mean i love the filler eps too, but this show always does mythology eps so well
oh and episodes like Linchpin

And I'm so here for these episodes, although it's still weird seeing HRG in a non-HRG role.
