The wind chill was 9˚, and I got a pebble in one of my Dr. Martens, but couldn't stop to take it out because the crowd was moving too fast. Ended up missing school until I could walk on it again.
TL;DR: It was cold as fuck and the teacher who coordinated the trip was an asshat.
It's been official for a while now, Nicky. A second term inauguration is the presidential equivalent of renewing a library book.
Apparently, my being an independent, educated woman who has no desire to be a stay at home Mom is going to ruin the country. I just sat there trying not to laugh at her. It was by far, the weirdest thing that has happened to me in a really long time.
I mean, once she realized that I'm a productive citizen who isn't trying to live off the government, she was a little less abrasive, but my entire way of thinking horrified her. It was awesome.
Omg that's ridic. Like, idk, i'm sure the airline has a policy about not getting into politics while on the job. wth, tbh.
i would've laughed though
that person needs to get a life
Thanks to them, I don't think I'll be able to handle another old white man being president again.
i give up.
There's more where that came from too. What the legitimate fuck is wrong with people?

Idk what she said in her post, but these people are expliciting saying they want Obama to be assassinated, so I'm thinking it's the least the SS could do.
what's wrong with people is they are racist (at least, these people)
okay
and ss
i hate being reminded that people like this exist
i need to see the POTUS dancing so it'll make me less angry
He'll be dancing then.
This one just feels much more rememberable.
And Michelle Obama honest to god looks 20 years younger now. She looked younger today than she did 4 years ago.
i like him but he has done some pretty fucked up shit too that people conveniently ignore because he has a good personality. i mean he's miles better than romney and i voted for him but still.

aw so cute
That said his foreign policy record deserves to be examined but lol @ anyone acting like this is the first Dem to let you down in that area.

i liked clinton but he did some messed up stuff during his presidency too
Complex approaches to politics? Impossible.
I can understand that things like drone strikes can drive someone to utter contempt for him despite those good things but I feel it's more rooted in this weird hyper expectation of him to fail living up to this image they're upset he has in the first place.
That's why I made the point about Clinton....I've never seen people rebuke his "awesome dude" image as much as they have Obama.
There will never be an even ground that will please everyone and no plan of action will ever be without consequence. That goes for anything in this world. To be without contradiction, is to not have a stance on anything. Limits create character. Opposing opinions create disorder, in any general circumstance.
