Taz - Mania and Tom and Jerry Kids to get DVD releases







“Taz-Mania” Coming to DVD

Tvshowsondvd.com reports that Warner Brothers is releasing the cartoon Taz-Mania with Taz-Mania-Season 1, Part 1: Taz on the Loose on DVD on May 14, 2013. The two-disc set contains the first 13 episodes from Season 1. The show focuses on Bugs Bunny’s arch enemy, the Tasmanian Devil (Taz for short) and his family and friends living in Tazmania.

Taz-Mania was produced by Warner Brothers and aired on FOX in 1991, the show features the voices of Jim Cummings (Winnie the Pooh) as Taz, Bushwhacker Bob, Wendal T. Wolf, and Buddy Boar, Maurice LaMarche (Egon from The Real Ghsotbusters and Brain of Pinky & the Brain) as Hugh, Dog the Turtle, Willie Wombat, and Daniel Platypus, Miriam Flynn (National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation) as Jean, Kellie Martin (Life Goes On, and Daphne from A Pup Named Scooby-Doo) as Molly, Debi Derryberry (Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius) as Jake, Rosalyn Landor as Mum and Constance Koala, Dan Castellaneta (Homer from The Simpsons) as Mr. Thickley, Rob Paulsen (Yakko from Animaniacs and Pinky of Pinky & the Brain) as Digeri Dingo, Fancis X. Bushlad, Axl, and Timothy Platypus, Phil Proctor (Howard DeVille from Rugrats) as the Chief Bushrat, and John Astin (Gomez from The Addams Family) as Bull Gator.

Tvshowsondvd.com reports that Warner will release the first season of The Tom & Jerry Kids Show on DVD on April 30th. Our favorite cat and mouse team is back, this time as child versions of themselves chasing one another. The show also features Droopy and his son, Dripple and Spike & Tyke. Season 1 will contain 39 shorts across 13 episodes on two DVDs.

The Tom & Jerry Kids Show was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions & Turner Entertainment Company. The show aired on FOX in 1990, and features the voices of Don Messick (Scooby-Doo) as Droopy, Charlie Adler (Buster Bunny from Tiny Toon Adventures) as Dripple, Teresa Ganzel (The Toy, The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson) as Miss VaVoom, Phil Hartman (Saturday Night Live) as Calaboose Cal, Dick Gautier (Rodimus Prime from The Transformers, and Serpentor from G.I. Joe) as Spike the Bulldog, Patric Zimmerman (Elroy from Jetsons The Movie) as Tyke the Pup (in his talking debut), and Frank Welker doing the vocal effects for Tom & Jerry as well as voicing Droopy’s foe McWolf.

I was watching the clips of that on Youtube just the other day. I remember watching when it aired the first time and screaming and cheering with my bff when Dwayne said "Will You?"
