it's a bit of both actually. that list of guys (some she never even went out with) was poking fun at her personal life.

I don't really follow Taylor but it seems to me that most of the backlash (aside from people who are just pressed in general) is because she's used her personal life/ fake or exaggerated relationships to build interest in her career but then acts like people are prying into her personal life when she's asked any questions about it. I don't think she's had an "excessive" number of boyfriends and I don't think its right for her to be judged based on who much she dates but she's had SO many high profile relationships that are photographed/written about and are made to sound so serious but only actually last two weeks. I feel like during the course of every relationship of hers thats posted on here there's something about her meeting the boys parents, him meeting hers and gossip about them getting serious, rinse repeat. Why can't her PR people just promote a relationship by saying she's young and having fun/ dating around?
Then she acts like the media is out of line when they ask questions about her love life or who her songs are about, but she also makes sure that theres plenty of speculation about it because she fuels her fans with the little "hints".
I don't think she would be getting this much backlash if she didn't make her relationships the cornerstone of her career. The fact that she and Jake were almost never photographed together and then how absurdly frequently she was photographed with Conor Kennedy and the dude from One Direction looks bad for her, imo. Clearly it is totally possible for her to avoid getting photographed, but she chooses to base her career on her "private life"

I've seen a few photos but my impression was that given how long they were supposedly together they weren't photographed very frequently, definitely less frequently than her and Connor Kennedy or the boy from one direction

she was longer in that relationship than with harry and yet she and harry got photographed every minute of every day basically and we have HQ pictures of eeeverything

i mean i get it, harry has a big fanbase...but jake is like an A-list actor or something and they managed not to be photographed that often?


but someone said here that jake didn't want to be seen with her so he did everything to make sure they weren't photographed that often lol so idk maybe that's the reason? lol

See, I like Taylor's music in a sense. But I do think it's not cool that she exploits her exes by writing clues in her album booklets who the song is about. I think Taylor has a lot of growing up to do. And while I liked Haylor while it lasted, I'm glad Harry is free of her.
