Gloriana Performs Anthem During AFC Championship Game!

Tonight country music trio Gloriana performed the National Anthem before the AFC Championship game at Gillette Stadium where the New England Patriots are taking on the Baltimore Ravens. They certainly slayed the song, especially when you compare it to Steven Tyler's version last year. Check out the video below.

i'm a pats fan too, but no one on our team is a murderer or a known rapist, and if anything like that happened, i would disown the team until they got rid of them.

shit, i totally forgot about this. i didn't even realize he was playing for the pats again because i've been trying to stay away from football this season (and i was in europe for most of it). and now i've just looked it up and found: "Stallworth re-signed with the Patriots because of a broken right foot suffered by wide receiver Julian Edelman and lack of depth at the wide receiver position."

how ironic, considering julian edelman is my favorite and i was so upset by his alleged assault and then so relieved that the video evidence proved him innocent. but yeah, good call.

Video evidence proved him innocent? Good for him. I still think he's kind of a punk but at least I can think better of him outside of football.

yeah, the woman said he put his hand under her skirt and started touching her but the video evidence, to quote an article, "indicates that the physical contact between the two was fleeting, according to prosecutors, and did not meet the elements of any crime."

i really like him mainly bc i met him at training camp and got his autograph instead of randy moss's because he was a rookie and i thought he looked really good and then he turned out to be quite useful in a bunch of different positions. and on twitter he's constantly on the search to find the perfect burger...

I'm glad you told me this. When I was home I was very anti-Edelman and my brother's argument came out basically as "bitch be lying," it sounded more like something a guy would say who doesn't understand rape culture than, um, a statement of fact. Now I owe fake Welker an apology.

lol is he? My brother follows all the Patriots but I always found the general material to be a little too Jesus-y for my tastes. Glad someone is using Twitter for its true purpose - obtaining excellent food products.

Arian Foster remains the NFL king of Twitter.

no problem! i mean, yes, he is fake welker...but i will forever be bitter that belichick didn't use him more in the playoffs when welker was injured a few years ago in that other game in which the ravens beat the shit out of us at home. and idk how good he is this year, since he was injured for the majority of it, but i will always have a soft spot in my football heart for him.

i unfollowed most of the pats on twitter last year because of my post-superbowl rage (that's how you could tell i really meant business) so idk what they post now, but i used to love it when they tweeted each other...especially welker and deion branch.

i love football players on twitter in general. ochocinco had a great twitter but i immediately gave up on him after he abused his wife. sigh. they're always funny because they're so...dumb. sorry for this novel of a comment, lol.

I think Julian was like charged with assault against a woman at a bar but I think it turned out to not be true
