I agree. Her stans are delusional.

britney was created to be a teenage idol. she didn't have much talent but she delivered in performances in the beginning. now ppl expect so much when she didn't bring much to begin with and she knows that. if you're seriously trying to put her on a pedestal above christina, madonna and even gaga then you need to watch her performances from the 90s to now chronologically.

Except they never do sound better than the original. You don't have to like Britney's voice, but she brings a delivery to the songs that people who cover them don't - even ones with more technical ability. Most Britney covers I hear are pretty lackluster.

(And I say this as somebody who frequently likes covers as much or even better than originals).
