I planned on watching Silver Linings Playbook tonight, even though so many people are saying it's crap.

I dunno, most of what I saw before was people loving it. Then once more people started to see it, thats when everyone claimed it sucked. I think expectations were so high it was impossible for it to be deemed good by those who saw it later.

I still really liked it, but I enjoy movies like that.

People saying it's crap = internet backlash to too much hype. Go into it expecting a well-acted and smarter-than-average romcom but nothing life-changing and you'll probably enjoy it.
