First look at Ashley Benson on 'How I Met Your Mother'!

Ashley Benson cozies up to Josh Radnor in this first look pic from How I Met Your Mother.

In the episode “Ring Up!”, Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) begs Ted (Radnor) to continue seeing his much younger, much wilder girlfriend (Benson), even though Ted has nothing in common with her.

Meanwhile, Robin (Cobie Smulders) must adjust to the power of the bling.

“Ring Up!” airs Monday, January 21st @ 8PM ET/PT on CBS.

Yeah they fetishize that constantly. pretty sure Barney told Robin her "daddy issues" were "hot". And they pretty much portray the women on the show as pathetic and the guys as ~awesome. At least in the beginning of the show the others seemed to look down on Barney's grossness but they grew to somehow worship him?

omg right? i hated barney from the beginning but at least the earlier seasons had the others rolling their eyes @ him or w/e but now it's all about how awesome he is and no. just - no. even outside his general grossness, he's a dull, one-note character.
