Paget Brewster to guest star on Modern Family

When Benjamin Bratt returns to Modern Family later this season as Manny’s biological father, he won’t be alone.

Ex-Criminal Minds leading lady Paget Brewster has been cast as Javier’s new girlfriend, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Brewster’s character, Trish, possesses upper class sophistication and book smarts. (Cue the fireworks with Javier’s ex, Gloria in 3, 2, 1…)

Yes! She was great on Friends and it'll be interesting to see her on another comedy.

I hope Javier signs away his parental rights and Jay adopts Manny, tbh. Javier's never around and Jay's a much better father for him.

Also can't wait to find out Gloria and Jay's baby's name. Little disappointed they had a boy, though, since I was 1oo% convinced it was going to be a girl. He was cute, though, and Jay was adorable with him.

Yup! And combined with the fact that Jay mentioned he wanted another son, I was absolutely convinced it was going to be a girl.

This last episode was so damned good.

When Cam lifted that chair to make Lily plunge into the pool I was laughing so hard I was gasping for air.

Love her! Prentiss was always my favorite on Criminal Minds(well, and Reid obvs).

I can't believe she's 43. She could seriously pass for late 20s.

I MISS PRENTISS SO MUCH! Seriously, she was the best.

I like Alex too but I'd trade her, Morgan and Garcia just to get mah gurl back on the team. She was flawless.

I've been waiting for this show to get funny again. I've been re-watching the first season. It was great then, but it's grating now.

Probably both. They've gone way over the top and ruined some of the characters, especially Gloria. The blatant product placements make me laugh more than the jokes.

Plus there's no Dylan anymore and he was my favorite.
