Lady Gaga may be one of the biggest pop stars out there, but the singer has apparently decided to have a career change and wants to 'pursue a movie career' to encourage her boyfriend to propose.
Rumours have been surrounding the 'Born This Way' superstar and her alleged upcoming movie career for a while, but it's now been suggested that the reason behind the shift in her career is because of personal reasons.
"She's decided to go from a pop star to a movie star. Gaga thinks that if she gives up the crazy rock 'n' roll lifestyle, Taylor will propose," an insider told National Enquirer. "Gaga is actually a traditional girl and wants to settle down."
The star has apparently been having acting lessons and is determined to rise to the top of Hollywood, having her sights set on a big screen musical such as Les Mis.
Gaga has reportedly set her sights so high that she's even planning on 'winning an oscar' within the next FIVE YEARS!
She also recently announced that she will be appearing in Robert Rodriguez's movie 'Machete Kills', alongside Mel Gibson, Sofía Vergara and Amber Heard.
There could also be a collaboration with Quentin Tarantino in the pipeline, after he praised the star at the recent premiere of his movie 'Django Unchained'.
"I'm a big fan of hers. It could happen. She's a really nice person. We got together a couple of times. She's a real lovely person," he said.

we also don't need assumptions (hoping it's just what they are) that any woman (especially one that's supposedly about ~girlpower) would change their life only to have their boyfriend propose.
