These People Enjoyed Obama's Second-Term Inauguration



We’ve all heard of “fake it till you make it,” but for the pedestrians caught on Jimmy Kimmel’s “Lie Witness News,” maybe the better mantra is “don’t sign the releases.”

In the segment, Kimmel’s reporter asks people what they thought about the teddy bear throwing, tap routine, giant free cake, and Biden tears at President Obama’s inauguration.

The only problem (as you all definitely know) is that the inauguration hasn’t happened yet.

i cant understand how gagas gonna be able to sing at this, if she has a concert the same night in los angles & is playing the day before too. how is this possible?! she would have to fly back & forth & get jetlag & shit, but vincent herbert confirmed. it must be true. i heard & saw him say it. it must be true. urghhhhh.

I bet she'll manage! I remember a couple years ago Jesse Eisenberg did some LA-based promo on Saturday morning, SNL on a Saturday night in NY, and did the Golden Globes in LA on Sunday afternoon. These celebs just deal with it, I guess!

I'm so jealous. I was at school during the first inauguration. We didn't even go to classes. A bunch of people sat in the hall together, watching it on TV. We all could have stayed home, but it was really amazing sitting there with people I didn't know and enjoying it. Everyone had their arms around each other and we were all crying. It was a great moment.

YAY! I'm from CA but in DC right now to volunteer for the day of service. I've met people from all over and so many of them are so excited. I'm so sad I'll be leaving on Sunday.

he is getting sworn in on Sunday but I think the festivities are on Monday

The private swearing in is on Sunday. The ceremonial one, parade and ball are on Monday.
