So I comment in one post about Elementary that I want to like the show but don't, and it's "why bother to watch t.v. at all?" Really?
I didn't say I hated it or that I want it to be cancelled or that I have any will toward it. I just wish it was better. I'm totally okay with other people liking or loving it. I love a few shitty shows or mediocre shows. Just not this one.
It's only the modern adaptions that have made it more appealing. The procedural aspect comes from those stories. I find it hard to understand why people don't get that.
One would hope that this show would live up to modern Sherlock Holmes adaptations. And I'm not some Sherlock Holmes snob. The name just comes with certain expectations of the main character's deductive abilities that this show has not delivered on.
