this season had so much potential to be really scary, the setting was perfect. But all this season had was rape, gore, rape, gore, gore, aliens, rape, gore. like jfc. the only thing that really scared me was the possessed kid in ep 2.
i'm still bittery about sister mary eunice's end. It such a flop omg she deserved better.
She had a reason for it to be though. So it be a huge success and she could ride to the vatican with priest boy. Though, I really do think satan left Mary Eunice's body and possessed him instead and we're going to get this weird awkward commentary about how the Catholic church is being run by Satan.
seriously. jessica's acting blew me away this season, and even despite her being the antagonist for the majority of the season, i loved her character. so sad that she's not the HBIC anymore :(
actually, everyone's acting has been pretty amazing this season. a lot of people talk shit about evan but i think he's been pretty great (in both season 1 and 2)
I've liked this season more than the first. Even though there are still a few holes, it seemed more more cray but more tight. I hope the finale isn't as disappointing as the sn 1 one.

i wish the aliens would just abduct them and bloody face jr in the 5 min before the opening credits and that's all we ever see of those storylines for the entire episode

I really hate the alien stuff... Like I just don't feel like it fits with the rest of the show. Not that the rest of it makes any sense either, but still.
IA. Love this season, but it could have done without the alien element. It would have been more plausible, which makes it even more horrifying if that makes sense.
I totally get what you're saying and I agree. Plus my biggest "scary" weakness is satanic possession and shit so I think that would have worked better for me.
