Kelly Ripa uses botox on face and armpits, stays thin due to SoulCycle

Her face is projected on 6 million viewers' HD-TV screens practically every morning.

And Live! with Kelly and Michael host Kelly Ripa has admitted she receives Botox injections every seven months in order to keep her pretty face looking its best.

'It's the Botox. Every seven months or so my eyelid skin rests on my eyelashes,' the 42-year-old star revealed in the February issue of Elle Magazine.

'So I feel like [Botox] makes my makeup artist's life easier, and it makes my eyes look a little more open on TV, which is where I happen to work right now.'

The three-time Emmy winner has even had injections in her armpits to prevent sweating, and she maintains her super-slim frame thanks to frequent SoulCycle spin classes.

Back when she starred on the soap All My Children, Kelly transformed lemons to lemonade whenever she received vicious, fat-shaming hate mail from fans.

She could do with a few pounds on her frame, too bony makes you look old Kathie Lee Ripa.

I can't believe her kids are that big.

ive been taking spin classes forever...i went to a particularly hard spin class yesterday, followed by a Bar Method class, and i GAINED an effing pound....even though i only ate 1300 calories

do you think spin is effective? I really want to go a night or two a week after work (I would still work out on the other days)but I've never been!

i love it...ive been spinning for about 5 years, and i really feel like it helps me out with my triathlon training. It also burns a ton of calories.

Its not as hard on your body as running, and i have knee problems, so thats definitely a plus for me.

& I bet you're building muscle!

Good for her.
When my eyelids start drooping, if i have the money...why the hell not?
inkykels 18th-Jan-2013 06:53 pm (UTC)
I can't hate on minor maintaining tbh. I know I don't sleep enough & drink too much beer to age gracefully so I'll be on that tip when the time comes.

I liked her shape pre becoming a co-host.
