Kelly Ripa uses botox on face and armpits, stays thin due to SoulCycle



Her face is projected on 6 million viewers' HD-TV screens practically every morning.

And Live! with Kelly and Michael host Kelly Ripa has admitted she receives Botox injections every seven months in order to keep her pretty face looking its best.

'It's the Botox. Every seven months or so my eyelid skin rests on my eyelashes,' the 42-year-old star revealed in the February issue of Elle Magazine.

'So I feel like [Botox] makes my makeup artist's life easier, and it makes my eyes look a little more open on TV, which is where I happen to work right now.'

The three-time Emmy winner has even had injections in her armpits to prevent sweating, and she maintains her super-slim frame thanks to frequent SoulCycle spin classes.

Back when she starred on the soap All My Children, Kelly transformed lemons to lemonade whenever she received vicious, fat-shaming hate mail from fans.

Every celebrity blends in with the crowd in NYC though. I used to walk around for hours and never saw anyone that I would consider a celebrity.

I've only met two celebrities just randomly on the street, one of them I knew he was in town filming so I recognized him, the other someone pointed out to me

I don't know why but recently I've been finding her super irritating. Which is odd because when she was with Regis she was always my favorite. Now she just tries too hard and I'm just like "stawwwwp".

I can't even watch Kelly & Michael anymore. And I was all in favor of having Michael as her cohost too! She's just become intolerable. I kind of wish we could get Regis back so she wouldn't act so fake and be such a try-hard.

Sweating may occur elsewhere on the body, since the Botox prevents it from occurring in the armpits. Some patients experience sore throat, fever, headache neck and back pain or flu symptoms following Botox injections

i can deal with aging normally i just hope i don't want to look haggard at a young age like a lot of other (mainly) white women i see. i take good care of myself but sometimes i feel like it doesn't really matter and genes decide how you age mostly -_-

I'm forcing myself to learn how to sleep on my back so I won't make my face wrinkle faster. I can see lines starting to try and come in on my forehead, but I'm fighting them like a beast. I'm moisturizing the shit out of it, working to not move my eyebrows up much, staying out of the sun, no smoking, little drinking. lord

I feel bad for my mom sometimes both of her sisters get fillers and botox and have perky implants and I think she's starting to feel left out lol. I didn't realize botox is relatively inexpensive so my mom has been thinking about going to the guy my aunt sees. told her no way would I let her get her lips done though because one of my aunts looked like a fish for weeks

honestly I really want lip fillers, and I could afford it once or twice but it's the fact that I would have to pay over a thousand dollars a year at least to maintain it, can't realistically swing that right now

SoulCycle is the devil and a godsend at the same time. $25 per class is ridiculous though. If there were a groupon or living social deal I'd buy it though.
