New Disney game coming this June

The Disney Infinity starter pack, which will include the game, three figures and their three respective 'Play Sets,' will cost $74.99 when it debuts this June. The three figures bundled with the starter pack are Pirates of the Caribbean's Jack Sparrow, The Incredibles' Mr Incredible, and Sully of Monsters University.
Each of the 20 launch figures has its own associated 'Play Set,' these being gameplay worlds and stories linked to the character and their original habitat. Play Sets will cost $34.99, while Power Disc bundles, which sit underneath character figures and provide in-game buffs, will start at $4.99.

notice that none of the characters are from 2D features

maybe it's just easier for them to do CG designs of characters that were already from 3D movies and/or live action in Pirates case

7 out the 28 pictured characters are girls/women. and only 1 is a PoC. yayyyy for video game representation. /sarcasm

mte I shouldn't be surprised - it is a video game, and a Disney one at that. they're not exactly known for their progressive representation.

I mean even in that thumbnail for the trailer they're holding the croquet flamingos from Alice In Wonderland...yet they don't think to include Alice or even the Queen of Hearts as a character in the game? nhft shit.

Exactly. I mean, the movie might have been a total drag, but we couldn't put Merida in here? Really? It doesn't seem to be a case of year released either.

True. They managed to add Wreck-It-Ralph, which wasn't a bad movie imo but Brave was released before it. They still could of added her into it.

anyone know how I can play Kingdom Hearts on my PC? I've tried using emulators but I couldn't get them to work.

PS2 emulators are tricky and there are lots of guides. If you are using a laptop then I would not recommend a PS2 emulator, unless you have a nice gaming one.

I remember the good old days when you bought a game... you bought the fucking game. I am an avid gamer and I thin $60.00 is way too much for a game. Prices have gotten ridiculous and compared to the rest of the world $60.00 for a new release game is usually the cheapest. It is insane.

It's only going to get worse. The release-an-unsatisfying-game-and-only-release-the-good-parts-as-DLC trend isn't going away, and more and more companies are even beginning to lean towards the trend of all-digital releases (aka, no discs).

And they don't understand why people pirate. A game doesn't have to be a big budget blockbuster to be good. More companies need to understand that.
