As a former Safety Patrol member, I feel I must make a few points.

-For most stoplights in the United States, red DOES NOT mean "go." When you see a traffic light displayed red, please stop and check around you for traffic. Once the light has turned green, you may proceed.

-When dealing with broken glass or lights, always wear safety goggles. Slivers of glass could strike your eye and cause loss of vision.

-Try to avoid walking on broken glass. Little pieces may stick to your shoes, which then may get into your house, then onto your socks or skin, and into your bed where you'll get glass stuck in you. Or even worse, it may harm a loved one or pet innocent of such dangerous walking habits.

SAFETY FIRST, EVERYBODY!!!
