More on "Teen Mom 2" 's Jenelle Evans' Pregnancy

Jenelle Evans is expecting her second baby and her husband, Courtland Rogers, shared her sonogram pictures exclusively with RadarOnline.com, saying that they hope that the baby is a girl!

“This is our baby to be,” the Teen Mom’s hubby gushed about the ultrasound photographs that Jenelle had taken on January 10, 2013.
(Note: For some reason the ultrasound pics on Radar's site are broken but all blurry "what the fuck am I looking at" sonogram pics look the same anyway so it doesn't matter)

“Jenelle is showing a little bit,” Courtland said about his pregnant wife.

“She looks so cute. She used to be a skinny 105 pounds but now she weighs 115 pounds and she has a cute little baby bump!”

As Star magazine exclusively reported, Jenelle is expecting her baby on September 4, and while she doesn’t know the sex of the baby yet, they’re hoping for a girl.

“Jenelle says she feels really different this time being pregnant so she thinks she’s having a girl,” Courtland revealed.

This baby will be the younger sibling of Jenelle’s son Jace Evans and his daughter JaJa. Neither of them currently have custody of their respective children.

Courtland said that he’s been taking care of his wife, who is having a rough first trimester.

“Jenelle has morning sickness, back pain and muscle pain all the time.”

The 21-year-old reality TV star and her hubby do have a name picked out, and they assure us it isn’t Ke$ha.

“We like the name Audriana, we’ve been saying that for a long time.”

Jenelle Might Lose Custody of New Baby

Jenelle Evans, 21, and new husband, Courtland Rogers, were surprised and elated to learn that the Teen Mom 2 star was six weeks pregnant, shortly after their Dec. 4 marriage.

But keeping custody of their new baby, after Jenelle Evans lost custody of her first son, Jace, now three, means that Jenelle’s behavior while pregnant, has to be exemplary
, celebrity family law attorney, Vikki Ziegler tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.

“Jenelle needs to make sure that she gives no reason for her mother, Barbara Evans, who already has custody of Jace, to run to court and make a petition for custody,” says Ziegler.

“If Jenelle’s mother can prove to the court that she’s been doing drugs while pregnant, or if she hasn’t seen her first son, she has potential to win custody of the new baby.”

Of course, Jenelle is married now, and her husband, Courtland, would have the right of custody, but he also has a history of prescription drug abuse. “The grandmother can say that they’re both unfit,” warns Ziegler.

The problem for Jenelle is that it’s very hard in her home state of North Carolina for a mother to lose custody of a child in the first place. “Parents have a fundamental right to their children, and so there’s a high hurdle to lose custody,” explains Ziegler. “The fact that Jenelle did lose custody after a series of arrests for assault and drug possession, plus at least one stint in rehab, means she has to regain the court’s trust,” says Ziegler.

So what does Jenelle have to do to ensure that she retains custody of her new baby, due in September?

“She must stay off drugs, make repeated attempts to see her son, Jace, and also to see her husband’s daughter, Jordan (JaJa), 1. She needs to focus on the children who do exist, showing her maternal instincts. Plus, she must focus on her health and keep herself and her fetus out of harm’s way,” explains attorney Ziegler.

“All eyes will be on Jenelle while she’s pregnant,” says Ziegler. “She needs to be mom of the year while pregnant.”

Now, of course, she’ll have to stay on her best behavior after the baby is born, too, because her mother could go to court at any time. Her mom will undoubtedly be watching the whole situation closely.

But Jenelle, remember — the health of your baby is at risk, too, if you use any drugs — either recreational or prescription (if they’re not taken as prescribed by a physician). So keeping healthy while pregnant won’t just ensure that you retain custody of your baby, but also that you keep it healthy — something you undoubtedly want.

Good luck, Jenelle. What do you think, HollywoodLifers — will Jenelle keep custody of her new baby? Let me know!

So there you have it. I think that brings us up to date in everything going on right now. I really hope that for this baby's sake that she gets clean during the pregnancy but considering she doesn't really seem to care about Jace who knows if that will actually happen. This is going to be a messy few months, that's for sure.

I feel like all of these women have such sad lives--I guess we don't hear about the ones who are doing well. It makes me think that the speculation that this show alone has had some appreciable affect on the rates of teenage pregnancy is on to something. How could anyone with the least bit of critical thinking skills want any part of this?

good for her, tbh

Sometimes they only show the shitty aspects on MTV though. From what I can gather, Chelsea seems to not only have her shit together, but to be happy, healthy and stable. And even Adam, the bb daddy, seems to be a great father (which is kind of funny considering the way he was in the beginning). Maci definitely isn't perfect either, but her and Ryan are also good parents to Bentley. Granted, they don't always agree, but parents don't always agree in general.

CHELSEA? The lazy bitch who is 20 and can't get her GED? Did she get it yet? Is she in No Skills Reject School yet and graduated?

You have to realize that the stuff we are currently seeing on television is almost 2 years old.

Chelsea did get her GED and has been in cosmetology school since the summer.
fuckmyass 17th-Jan-2013 07:37 pm (UTC)
yes, but considering it took her a year to even begin taking one practice test, I can't give her any credit.

Can you honestly say Chelsea has her shit together? Seriously? Her dad pays for her existence.
