omg i HAAATE classes that require u to buy an access code to use IN ADDITION to a textbook!

i can find textbooks online for free (saved at least $600 last semester by finding all of mine) but u can't get access codes in PDF form! wtf? does anyone know how to get around dis?

Ask around and see if someone still has time on theirs at school a lot of the time the code lasts for longer than a semester. Hopefully it's only for practice because otherwise it'll be in their name.

yeah that's a good idea, thanks!

blehhhh 2 of my classes did this and i couldn't find a way around it, because sometimes even old codes are only one time access so you can't always find them from someone else. it's like as soon as we finally can get cheap books they try to fuck us over some more!

it's fucking bullshit that those passes cost so much and only give you access for a year. bitch, i want access forever.

One class told me I needed the access code. Bought it and then we never used it. Ugh.

ugh they're such a pain! and where did you find textbooks for free?
pilotparties21 16th-Jan-2013 07:15 pm (UTC)
just various sites that had PDF files of them on it. but here's a tumblr post that I always use every semester and it's v helpful! i usually looked things up by their author or ISBN

thank you so much! textbooks kill my bank account.

I found most of my textbooks online for free too (torrents, etc) or I buy the cheapest good version on Amazon. I was a textbook troll unless it was one of those fucking asshole textbooks that you had to buy the brand new version for $200. But then you could sell them USUALLY back for almost full price.
