Piquira invites you to collaborate with UNICEF

Join Shakira & Gerard Piqué's World Baby Shower to help UNICEF save children's lives.

Shakira and Gerard Piqué are throwing a baby shower... with a twist!

It's online, it's interactive, and it's for the benefit of babies everywhere. Shakira and Gerard want to highlight how children around the world still suffer from preventable illnesses, and they want your help!

Here's how it works: guests can help save babies lives around the world by giving a UNICEF Inspired Gift – polio vaccines, therapeutic food, rehydration salts and more – to celebrate the occasion.

Guests can also become 'UNICEF Champions' and win prizes by spreading the word about the event with their friends. Champions earn points for each piece of exclusive content they share and increase their chances of winning signed Shakira CDs and DVDs and FC Barcelona shirts and footballs!

So come celebrate with Shakira, Gerard, UNICEF and thousands of others!

She'll have earned every one of those stretchmarks. Most of my post-pregnancy stretchmarks have faded, and tbh she'll probably have them covered with make up and/or removed in post-production anyway. It'd be nice to see a pregnant celeb look normal post-birth, rather than the usual pics of "gym six days a week, macrobiotic diet, nanny doing all the night feeds so Mum gets 12 hours sleep".

For some reason, I give a total pass to 98% of stretch marks. "Pass" as in I do not find them to be a blemish in any shape or form. I mean there is almost literally nothing you can do to avoid them - it's not even something like acne that, with enough cash, prescriptions, etc, you could theoretically at least lessen.

Totally. They fade over time, but no cream/oil/blood of virgins will touch them; it's the deepest layer of skin (I think) tearing as you grow bigger, no cream is going to sink in deep enough and be able to magically sew the tear back together. I had bigger things to worry about (like, y'know, squeezing out a healthy baby the size of a watermelon through a hole stretched the width of a drainpipe) than a few pink lines on my stomach and hips. WEAR DEM STRETCHES WITH PRIDE, BB SHAKIRASHAKIRA.
