There's a glass brick window in my bedroom, and I covered it up. Not just because it's dated, but because it made my room too hot. That window faces west, so when the sun starts to set it hits those glass blocks and heats it up like an oven. Which is bad, when you live in Texas. I put a black out shade over it, then some curtains to make it look like there's a huge window on that wall.
