Emma Stone in Talks for Guillermo del Toro's Next Horror

The 'Amazing Spider-Man' actress is in talks to star in the haunted house movie, which marks del Toro's return to scary film genre after wrapping 'Pacific Rim

After starring in superhero film "The Amazing Spider-Man", Emma Stone could jump into thriller genre for her upcoming project. The "Easy A" actress, who's recently teamed up with Seth MacFarlane to read the Oscar noms, is in talks to star in Guillermo del Toro's new project "Crimson Peak".

I'm getting so tired of every article saying stuff like "the [Movie Title] star/actress/actor" instead of using their damn name. This article was ridiculous about it. I don't care if they do it once, but when they barely ever use their name and name like four movies instead, geez.

I hate it when they do it with popstars and mention fucking song titles i.e "The Wide Awake singer", etc.

Well, she doesn't have the range for this but I'm glad she's doing it.
I've been saying that she needs to take more risks and switch it up, glad to see she is.
I still think she needs to have more fun tho with her choices, she's waaaaaayyyyyy too cautious for a 24 year old.

I feel like her face is too modern for serious dramas/period pieces. So her options are kind of limited (I think).

I think even the way she speaks is too modern.

This is why British actors are making bank, they have legit training which makes them versatile. They know more than just how to look pretty while crying or how to be well lit.

i honestly couldn't care if she did more dark roles

i like her comedic timing and i feel like it suits her better, she was the weakest part in Gangster Squad and that's saying a lot when you have disgusting pig Sean penn in it.

i saw gangster squad while i was on holiday.... it was a mess. emma stone was gorgeous but so wasted in it. she never should have taken that role. the only good thing about it was that it reinforces how she needs to return to red hair ASAP
