To me she's one of the most likable new stars to emerge. Unless I missed some crazy twitter rant where she revealed her hatred for women, children, kittens and puppies.
I think she's smart.
I just dislike how safe she is and sometimes she can be a bit too precious.
i like her, she's incredibly charming and fun to me.
"why is she cast in this, her ______ makes her so limited"
and this place judges celebs like lindsay lohan but thinks professional, drama-free females are boring. or they think so and so's talent is "overrated" but stan for britney spears.

I'd say ONTD just doesn't want to watch people succeed and only celebrate morons like Lindsay for going out and ruining their lives because it fills a void in their lives or something.
I didnt believe her in Gangster Squad as this sultry sexy dame. I didn't believe her in Zombieland as this shoot 'Em up badass either but I heard she wasn't even the first choice casting for that so that could be reason.
Another poster said she has a goofy face, that could play into it. I don't necessarily think she should just stick to romcoms and comedies but the girl has an encyclopedia of slap stick facial expressions alone you can see in her various interviews. I think she really wants to be taken seriously and be able to be called well-versed that she's just taking the spaghetti that will stick to the wall, if you will, e.g gangster squad - a familiar setting with Ryan and Ruben's returning faces. A lot of posters have said too that Jennifer Lawrence could easily beat her out of the roles she'd be up for in the future if she doesn't step up her game.
sorry this was a novel!
She should do dark comedies.
Why do they need to try ALL of the boxes to be 'in' and relevant...
Then again Chastain just did it and I love her... SO yeah this is just bias speaking here... clearing.
And I am an unconditional of Del Toro, even Katie Holmes can't spoil that for me.
Like some other posters said tho, she better stick to comedy. She is the next Betty White.

I loved her look in Zombieland sfm, I wish she'd stick to that.
