the producers did MC so dirty: they signed her on and assured her that they'd give her the JLo treatment and not hire another female judge and make sure she was the star on the panel. this was supposed to be the shot of renewed-relevancy that her career could use right now.

then they hired someone younger, more over-the-top, whose body looks better in a teeny dress

so far, Minaj has stolen the promo-tour. i have little to no doubt that she will garner the most attention during this season.

I will legit never understand why nasty behavior is deemed acceptable as long as the person has sold 200 million albums. Society needs to stop letting powerful people get away with murder. i grew up with mariah carey(as did a lot of people) i had all her albums on cassette & CD & played the hell out of them, she could probably murder nicki on live tv & i would still be a huge fan of her music

also she is just super talented, there aren't many voices like that- not many people come close to her
