Press Release

AFRAID THAT THE STRANGER MAY HAVE SEEN MAGIC BEFORE HIS ACCIDENT, SOME OF THE STORYBROOKE RESIDENTS WANT DR. WHALE TO LET HIM DIE SO THAT HE CANNOT EXPOSE THEIR TRUE IDENTITIES TO THE WORLD, AND VICTOR TRIES TO PROVE TO HIS FATHER THAT HE CAN BRING BACK THE DEAD, ON ABC'S "ONCE UPON A TIME"

"In the Name of the Brother" - Dr. Whale is tasked with mending Hook's wounds and performing surgery on the stranger whose car crashed upon entering Storybrooke. But some of the townspeople fear that the stranger may have seen magic -- which could expose their true identities to the world -- and think that leaving him to die would be the best solution. Meanwhile, as Mr. Gold tries to reunite with a despondent Belle, Cora attempts to reunite with daughter Regina; and in the land that was, Victor desperately wants to prove to his disapproving father that he can, indeed, bring back the dead, on "Once Upon a Time," SUNDAY, JANUARY 20 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Once Upon a Time" stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills, Meghan Ory as Red Riding Hood/Ruby, and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.

Guest starring are Lee Arenberg as Leroy/Grumpy, David Anders as Dr. Whale/Victor, Barbara Hershey as Cora, Colin O'Donoghue as Hook, Ethan Embry as stranger, Nelson Wong as paramedic no. 1, Janet Pinnick as nurse no. 1, Gregory Itzin as Alphonse, Chad Michael Collins as Gerhardt, Yurij Kis as Igor, Ian Harmon as sentry and Scott McAdam as orderly.

"In the Name of the Brother" was written by Jane Espenson and directed by Milan Cheylov.

Still not over that ending. :( And those promo pictures make me so sad, ugh.
teeluh 16th-Jan-2013 03:55 am (UTC)
I don't even care for Belle/Rumpel but omg what's gonna happen to Belle?! D:
mistycreed 16th-Jan-2013 04:08 am (UTC)
I can't imagine her NOT getting her memory back.
teeluh 16th-Jan-2013 05:16 am (UTC)
I hope she gets it back but I don't want them to be like "oh look a magic spell, everything will be back to normal!" but I don't know how else it would happen. (btw love your icon!)
shoutingasong 16th-Jan-2013 04:41 am (UTC)
idk, they never got back to whatever happened to Sneezy(?) when he crossed the line.
bodyline 16th-Jan-2013 03:55 am (UTC)
sucks to be Belle
sadisticsidhe 16th-Jan-2013 03:57 am (UTC)
Bit happy Belle lost her memory. Her "I know there's good in you!" schtick was gettin' old.
clairelittleton 16th-Jan-2013 04:06 am (UTC)
no more than "i'll always find you" or "he's my son!" or "magic comes with a price" etc.
aglows 16th-Jan-2013 04:07 am (UTC)
MTE. She was so annoying in the last episode.
hearthecity 16th-Jan-2013 04:14 am (UTC)
ia she's sweet but was really dumb with Rumple
greenfairy_87 16th-Jan-2013 04:38 am (UTC)
Yeah that shit only works on me when you're Sailor Moon fighting a possessed baddie.
goofusgallant 16th-Jan-2013 04:40 am (UTC)

minyquai 16th-Jan-2013 11:33 am (UTC)

nicenicegirl 16th-Jan-2013 01:18 pm (UTC)
mte she was a bit irritating
mingemonster 16th-Jan-2013 05:40 pm (UTC)
Especially since all "good" means in this case is not beating someone to death. Talk about low standards.
arcadiaego 16th-Jan-2013 10:11 pm (UTC)
She might just fall in love with again him not remembering all the crap he's done now though.
thaumos 16th-Jan-2013 03:59 am (UTC)
Ooo...wonder who's the stranger. Funny that the stranger needs surgery when Hook should've been more seriously injured.
francesbcobain 16th-Jan-2013 03:59 am (UTC)
Needs more Hook.
grande_latte 16th-Jan-2013 04:01 am (UTC)
i know he's all fucking evvil and what he did to belle was a bitch move but DAMn his scene with bell had me getting so turned on
francesbcobain 16th-Jan-2013 04:09 am (UTC)
UGH IKR. I'd give anything to be that close to him for even five seconds.
gogeta1 16th-Jan-2013 07:21 am (UTC)
they had so much chemistry
cruel_fortuna 16th-Jan-2013 04:05 am (UTC)
A grave digging we shall go, I'm with ya Victor!
// also still busy laughing my ass off at the 'angst all the Rumbelle fans are going on & on about. Mm... delicious!

Also, Rumple & Victor are in this ep. where's Jefferson - I need the complete set of crazy bastards!

ETA: I also need them to somehow work it out to where a Jekyll/Hyde type-character is Victor's brother - Make it So!

clairelittleton 16th-Jan-2013 04:08 am (UTC)
idg your second sentence. as a rumbelle fan, i'm confused by it.
cruel_fortuna 16th-Jan-2013 04:13 am (UTC)
People who are referencing the whole amnesia sub-plot that they think they're about to start wherein Belle has to learn to love him again.

m_pendulum 16th-Jan-2013 04:06 am (UTC)
Damn Cora and Regina are killing this scene.

"The two idiots." Queen of Sass is herre.

fallenroses07 16th-Jan-2013 04:16 am (UTC)
Omg bb I can't handle it. And Regina is flawless as ever
ragechill 16th-Jan-2013 04:10 am (UTC)
LOL. I don't believe anything Cora says. She isn't going to tell the charmings anything.
just_smiling 16th-Jan-2013 04:12 am (UTC)
So, Ethan Embry is the dude in the car.

Needs more Phillip/Aurora and Mulan, too.
gonerilandregan 16th-Jan-2013 04:16 am (UTC)
Lana Parrilla and Barbara Hershey are killing it.

I think Lana's way underrated, tbh. she's a good actress, and she really sells some of the corny dialogue.
fallenroses07 16th-Jan-2013 04:19 am (UTC)
I fucking love Lana. I think she's the best on this show (along with Robert). But I've been told I'm wrong about both of them on here sooo lmaoo. But I think she KILLS it as Regina in Storybrooke. She's phenomenal as the Evil Queen, but subtlety is definitely her strength
gonerilandregan 16th-Jan-2013 04:22 am (UTC)
what??? such hogwash! I am totally with you, bb; they're both the best of the regular cast.
xcollsangelx 16th-Jan-2013 05:18 am (UTC)
They are the best of the cast. Who in god's name do people find better?

yurasama_love 16th-Jan-2013 06:59 am (UTC)
Really? The reason Regina and Gold are my favorites are because they are the only ones acting.
tontoelquelolea 16th-Jan-2013 08:46 am (UTC)
She said somewhere that 'vulnerability' is her strength as an actor, and I think it's showing this season.

Also, I agree completely. Lana and Robert are the best thing in this show along with Jane Espenson.
starlysh 16th-Jan-2013 04:17 am (UTC)
I love Jane Espenson! I have high hopes for this episode. Also, I love that Regina has this beautiful hideaway somewhere with all her greatest queen clothes.
fallenroses07 16th-Jan-2013 04:20 am (UTC)
Ughhh Lana and Barbara are incredible. I'm not going to be able to handle their scenes together
lanavis 16th-Jan-2013 04:21 am (UTC)
Lana is perfect.
Seeing her is so happymaking.
