creepy post
The Guillermo Del Toro-produced horror flick, MAMA, is set to debut this week and today we have an exclusive clip from the film, which introduces you to the feral children of the titular mom. The film stars Jessica Chastain, who is burning up screens everywhere with her performance in ZERO DARK THIRTY, as well as Nikolaj Costar-Waldau, also known as Jaimie Lannister/The Kingslayer in HBO's Game of Thrones. That's a pretty good bonus for MAMA, which is helmed by first-time director Andres Muschietti.
The extended clip is pretty creepy and cool, which may well sway you into theaters if you were still on the fence. I'm certainly intrigued by the premise and look forward to catching this, if for no other reason than to see the lovely Chastain chew through some more scenery and some Del-Toro inspired scares.
rememberforget that it's HIMand the end credits scene always cracks me up

The other night, a couple friends and I were hating on this girl because she is one of those super judgmental Christians who thinks Fun is a sin. I would jest that I had no heart and the devil was inside me (referencing the girl in question) and we all had a good laugh. We went to bed and I had a dream that my mother was possessed and I was lucid toward the end. My eyes were open and I was dreaming and actually said what I was saying in my dream out loud which was (I think) "People listen to her now". As soon as I said that, something bangs on my door. Hard. It was only once, but it was wayyyyyy to creepy for me to handle and I couldn't go back to sleep.
I'm over it now but damn, I almost turned to God at 6:45 Sunday morning.
... yet I still plan to see it.
You There.
Reading this comment.
You've always been so fast.
Those nights in the dark. During those rainy, misty nights as I followed you. I could always just keep up, my hands reaching, just missing your neck. You would always just move forward so much faster than I. Speeding up just as I slowed, without even knowing how close, how close you have come. My breath, like the darkest recesses of a Charon house, the smell of bones and dust and dark, you always just smelled it. Just a whiff, like some insane perfume from a hellish place where no light has ever crept. You never paid it any mind. It was a sewer, that bum down the road, even just the smell of rain.
But you were always just...so....fast.
I could never keep up. My claws would just miss. You would reach your door just as I sped up, my last bit of strength urging me forward, just a millimeter away from your back, teeth shing with the light, claws glinting the hairs on your head, reaching with just so little room left until the hit you, cleaved you, ripped you.
But then you reached the door. The light shuts me out, sends me away.
Always.
But here I am. You see, I figured, the game has grown stale. This chase used to feed me, used to be a thrill. But now the flavor has left and I simply wish it to end. So now, here I post. You see, I know you come here. You love creepy things. The scarier the better. Oh, I know you'll never truly believe this is for you.
But that doesn't matter. You see, now, a little tiny part of you will always sense something. You may walk a little faster at first, but haste makes waster my dear. A trip, a fall, a careless slip. Perhaps one too many looks behind you. I will be in the shadows. Perhaps behind, perhaps to the side. Maybe even waiting in the darkened alley. You will slow. And I will be there.
Now that you know. Oh it will be so much easier to catch you. And, well, for those of you whom I have not had the...pleasure to chase. Well. Let's just say, I have many friends. We all share a similar...hobby.
Have a very nice night.
my neck and back are creepy tingly now
I'm sorry, creepy, do you have me mixed up with someone else?
did Nikolaj look hawt as fuq? Did playing a doting father make him hotter?
ET was the scariest movie ever to me. It scared me so bad as a kid, I slept all summer with a light on. Every plane I saw in the night sky, I thought was ET coming to get me.
