I finally quit this show mid-way through the final season after hating it since S4 because I really couldn't take it anymore
Every episode went like this: spend 5 minutes lasering a VHS tape out of the amber for plan segment of the week! Watch the tape of Walter talking about a part of his miraculous master plan that his brain is incapable of understanding, except oh, an important word or segment is distorted, oh no! Spend the next 30 minutes of running time on some random quest to a random location with random people without actually progressing the storyline in any meaningful way! btw a guest star died! Wait, what was the plan again?
I'll probably marathon the final episodes I missed some day just because of the residual love I have for these actors and characters from 3 great seasons, but I really disliked S4 and was bored out of my mind by what I caught of S5. Hopefully it does get better like you're saying!
Preach this truth. The last couple of episodes have been nothing but important character and story progression and super impactful important moments to with major people.
I think it's the hair (not that it's awesome hair or anything) ....I dont really know what it is, also he just looks like a really cool human being to hang with. Someone nice and caring and understand that won't judge you. WHY AREN'T YOU REAL!!
I'm bummed because I always try to hang out in the discussion posts on ontd_fringe, but this week I won't be home, so I'm gonna miss the last discussion. And I'll have to watch this on DVR the next day and cry all by myself. Boo! :(
Maybe, but the whole 'the Observers wouldn't exist' means that Walternate wouldn't have been distracted, OurWalter wouldn't have crossed over, and September wouldn't have saved them in the ice.
So our original timeline Peter won't live, and his Alt self won't be brought over because Walternate found the cure on his side.
If they succeed, then the Observers will cease to exist - at least as we know them. Presumably the scientist who created them (and my money is on a future!Bishop spawn, there) will still make them, but they'll be empathic and have feelings like Michael.
Peter won't cease to exist. He won't be wiped from the timeline like last season. If the observers don't exist, then September will never have interrupted Walternate in his lab. He'll discover the cure for Peter himself, making it unnecessary for Walter to cross over. If Walter never crosses over, then there's no need for him to bring Peter back with him, thus avoiding the whole nearly drowning in Reiden lake thing. Peter would be cured and raised in the red!verse, as he was supposed to be. Which doesn't mean he'd never meet Olivia, since Walter and Belly could still experiment with cortexiphan, meaning she could still cross over and meet Peter at some point, anyway.
Either way, it's all a giant paradox, because if Observers don't exist, then there's no anomaly!Michael to send to the future, so the mystery scientist would go ahead and make Observers anyway. And now I have a headache, lol.
Whatchu talkin' 'bout principino?
Not the time.
YOU AIN'T THINK ANYONE WAS WATCHING, BUT I SAW DAT SHIT.
CRAZY ASS CRAZY NUTCASE
/sobbing.

Rinse and fucking repeat
Your prerogative not to watch, but you're missing out IMO on greatness with the second half of this season.
I don't wanna..i just don't..not yet. not when you're giving me all the feels.
Refusing to believe this is the end.
There will be a lot of ugly crying.
btw, the more human September/Donald O'Connor is so flawless. I mean i was obsessed with September before, but now....
If they succeed then Peter never crosses over, he doesn't exist! So no ...anything, right?
