Lady Gaga's machine gun bra worn during concert causes outrage

No stranger to controversy,  Lady Gaga has caused outrage once again by brandishing a machine-gun bra just a month after twenty six
people were killed in a US school massacre.
The popstar donned the outfit consisting of two plastic assault rifles strapped to each cup, during her concert in Vancouver, Canada.
But critics have suggested the garb is insensitive and in poor taste after 20 children and six adults were killed in a horrific massacre at Connecticut's Sandy Hook primary school on December 14 last year.
A national debate on gun control is continuing to be played out in the US while the pop star flaunted the weapons during the North American leg of her Born This Way Ball tour.

People prefer to stick to really simplistic, obvious things that can be changed incredibly quickly and easily, without an actual change in culture or legislation. Hence the entire issue of video games, movies, etc being "behind the gun violence" in America. Does it have some influence? Suuuure, I mean, same way all forms of culture influence what goes on in the culture. Probably not quite as much direct influence as actual access to assault rifles but whatever, that takes much more effort to change, so let's ignore it.
