Denzel Washington made the sweet decision to bring his 21-year-old daughter, Olivia, to the Golden Globes as his date last night, then spent the entire evening explaining to people that, no, she was not his 62-year-old wife, Pauletta.
"IT'S NOT MY WIFE, PAULETTA," he warned Ryan Seacrest, before the used car salesman to the stars had even finished greeting him.
"Denzel's wife looks bored," observed Twitter.
"An earlier version of the caption with this photo incorrectly identified Denzel Washington's daughter as his wife," apologized The New York Times, "and misspelled Mr. Washington's surname." (How? Washingtonn? Ouashington?)
Luckily, Olivia seemed to take it in stride, giggling good naturedly as her father explained to Ryan Seacrest that she was not a person he had ever had sex with.
Just classic dad stuff.

When I visited Washington with my family back in 2008 I wasn't charged for breakfast because I counted as a kid. I was 20 then.

but I'm more and more convinced I look like someone because especially when I go abroad people stare at me or even take photos, negl that makes me feel like I have a constant toilet paper tail hanging from my pants or something because I really don't get it, I look like a fairly normal person.
Like, when I was in Colombia I stood out in this one community bc Im like 5'6 (where most people topped off at 5'3) and have brown hair and green eyes, while most have brown eyes. Everyone stared and people were like oh, pictures!
Here, no one looks twice
She really does look like her ma though.
