This episode further cemented the mediocrity of the show for me.

Love how she gets all this criticism for lack of minorities in the first season, so for the first episode of the new season she's (surprise!) dating a black guy. Who, btw, is totally out of her league.

IDK maybe its one of those things where they are both super hipstery but in different ways, so she is like "OMG it's so cool to be dating a black guy right now" and he is like "OMG it's so unconventional to date a chubby girl with tattoos my other good looking friends and family would never." IDK.
