Ciara really needs to drop that whole weird/futuristic/bdsm style. It's NOT working for her.
She has ok vocals and is a GREAT dancer. I feel like her sales aren't really her fault because not many people watch music videos anymore which is why she can't really capitalize on her dancing and her dancing is what brought most of her music videos to life. I mean look at Goodies, the song wasn't THAT great. It was a pop/hip-hop mix, but her dancing in the video brought the whole thing together.
I still like her music and I love that her and Missy Elliot collaborate all the time (they lez or something?), but I don't think she's going to make it if she doesn't revamp her style (music and image).
