What I don't fully get is why she goes back into the bedroom with the noisy phone. She could have gone outside where he might not hear it.

I didn't fully pay attention the first time. I see she's using the house phone to call a cell phone.

Now it makes sense, I think.

She's doing the whole, 'Call my phone to find it' trick. And it was in his dresser oh noes!
