She just tweeted that she isn't quitting, and she kept talking all last year about how this year she'd be working on/releasing a new album. She did leave her management on ~good~ terms, but hasn't been dropped by her label. She's still with Parlophone which has NOT been purchased by Universal. /drive-by stanning
