yeah that's how i feel about it. from the article it sounds like the interracial aspect is going to be a major "thing" for them, since it seems like everything the writer of this piece had to say about the new boyfriend had to do with his blackness. lena talking about how she's dating a black dude and they're going to a dangerous part of town (??), him schooling her about being ignorant about race issues, her hounding him about being a black republican, etc.
