The cast of 'Django' looking dapper in Berlin

Kerry Washington

Jamie Foxx

How cute are these two?

So cute!

Quentin Tarantino

Samuel L. Jackson

Queen Kerry looks so proud that Samuel L. Jackson ditched his hoodie in favour of a tie and jacket!

Christoph Waltz with wife Judith Holste

Kerry at the Rome premiere

Awww, everyone pulled it together for Berlin. Kerry looks smashing, Samuel L. Jackson and Jamie Foxx decided to embrace suit jackets, Waltz looks dapper, congrats to him on his BAFTA nod. Quentin Tarantino... is not wearing a hat or a velvet jacket which is really about the best you can expect from him.

Looking forward to Scandal tomorrow.

ya it was boring after they died but i get that it was important for django to become empowered and become the classic cowboy badass when slavery/black people were always ignored in those old westerns

but it was boring so

Although this is fiction, realistically, how long would he and Hildie be able to survive after all the death and infamy he caused though? Even as a cowboy baddass, it couldn't have been that easy to hide back then

Well he killed all the witnesses so unless the slaves of the Candie plantation snitched on him, I imagine they could get north/free by the time people began looking for them. And it's not like it was hard to forge your identity back then.

I guess. But there was still witnesses from Don Johnson's bag head crew.

didnt he have money from bounty hunting? it kind of made no sense that they kept him and hildy alive tbh or that the absolute worst punishment they could think of for django was to just to sell him as a slave somewhere else.

also on rewatch the dinner scene is kind of a letdown how samuel l jackson figures out their scheme just because hildy and django glance at each other a few times. the basterds scene in the bar when michael fassbender blows the whole thing by signaling the wrong 3 was way better done. the tension in that movie was better too

Fassbender's scene is Basterds was everything!!! I think that scene is what made him a star TBH.

Yeah, I agree, I thought IB was just an all around better movie (though it seems a lot of people here disagree). That 3 thing was brilliant.

Yeah, I need to rewatch the movie but I didn't think that it was that obvious the first time around. I mean, I guess he wasn't sure until he talked to Hildy and she couldn't lie well at all, but still.

"just because hildy and django glance at each other a few times"

that and they have the same "r" burned into their cheeks.
