Not really. Yoga is very spiritual and slow but Pilates is more about body conditioning. Yoga and pilates get lumped together because of their emphasis on body-weight exercises but I like pilates more than yoga since there isn't an emphasis on holding poses for a certain length of time.
You should look up the pop pilates videos on youtube to get an idea, they're pretty good! I just hate listening to upbeat music when I work out.
np bb, I thought they were the same for the longest time then I took a straight pilates class. I find that I actually like doing pilates alone in my apt for an hour vs. yoga where I would get real bored and be like "hm ok" after 10 min.
is pilates like yoga? if so, i probably won't like it :(

Don't follow the meal plan if you have food triggers though, because it's a little excessive and I know a few people have had issues with it.
no weights needed and it's alot of movement, not boring at all!
