Empire magazine made a really nifty infograph highlighting all the places James Bond visited during his fun-times adventures, from Sean Connery in Dr No 50 years ago to Skyfall with Daniel Craig last year.
The colours signify each Bond actor's travels: Connery in red; Lazenby in orange; Moore in green; Dalton in teal; Brosnan in blue; and Craig in purple. Between the six Bonds, they've visited 146 places in 23 films. Maybe they can actually visit Australia in the next movie? How the hell was that even missed out?

From the full wikipedia list of places visited it seems they choose locations on the amount of grandeur and danger. So all, for example, Canada needs to do is have it's crime rate rise by three hundred percent or have more palaces. They did film in Canada though as a stand in for Scotland it seems.
