Thoughts on the pilot that aired tonight? I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would and Meagan Goode actually did really well I thought. I hope it picks up a little bit more but I'm definitely going to be watching this season.

LOVED it, seeing as I've been watching it for weeks via on demand. I love Meagan and Tate Donovan is such a BAMF in this I don't know what to do.

Saw the pilot a few weeks ago on On Demand. It was pretty enjoyable, I thought. Predictable in a lot of ways, but I'm still interested enough to see where things go.

Agreed! When I actually paid attention the second time around I called everything so I hope in upcoming episodes that is not the case.

Meagan really surprised me in this. I wish the script was better cause I really like the acting so far.

I liked it a bit. It's hooked me enough to wanna see where it's going for the rest of the season. Didn't see that twist coming at the end though. Pleasantly surprised at MG's acting.

This is not true at all...race is not important in the show at all so saying that it is "black" is dumb. Also there are some similarities to Revenge, but lbr ever show on TV right now is influenced by other shows.

I don't think so at all and I'm not sure why folks are comparing it to REVENGE. IMO, it's more similar to VERONICA MARS.

I agree. It's much more VMars, down to the visions of "Lilly" component and dating the brother. But people are mostly caught up on the similarities of a woman returning to childhood home, concealing her identity among rich white people, and the one-word title.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it, especially given all the mixed reviews. Hell, even the clips they released that looked terrible were way better in context.

Meagan Good was solid. The rest of the cast wasn't given a ton to do, but I thought they were all pretty promising.

Also, Tate Donovan's wife is played by Chloe's mom on Don't Trust the B-!

Also, who was the guy in the sex tape? I totally thought he was Julian at first, the show should not have cast two random white guys in those roles, it was confusing.

It was not Julian. It's the guy who plays Trevor from Suits. Don't know what the actor's name is.
